Tip of the Day: First save then spend money only on products and brands you trust and love!
Now that we are being fiscally responsible, (if you haven't seen my class or my tools click the tab in the menu), its only right that we are responsible in taking care of our bodies also. The largest organ in the body is the skin and many times its deemed the most difficult to take care of. We get facials, acne cream, scrubs and many more but were still testing new products atleast every 3months! But, im a strong believer that everything we need comes straight from the earth, and it's purest form is the best form! So as we, in the midwest, prepare for the woes of winter we have to stay moisturized and acne free!
One of my biggest routines are facial masks! Yes, like the green mask from Jim Carrey's film The Mask in 1994! Mine are usually much darker in color however. I use masks at least once a week to rejuvenate my face and keep my skin smooth. There are now so many beauty brands that carry some version or another of charcoal, avocado, and mud masks. There are liquid masks, sheet masks, gel masks, so many to choose from!! They are sold based off the benefits each ingredient has.
I must admit, the beauty brands are pricing the masks from inexpensive to very expensive. In this corner, we love to save our dollars for brands we love and the debts we pay. My moto is, if we have to buy an expensive product, find a company or brand you love that maybe even has the same values you love to love, and buy from them! This way were not randomly splurging on random products or new trends every time they come out.
As for me! I do not have a favorite beauty brand that creates the masks I need so I do what I know! I create my very own!
Try my version of a moisture locking mask:
1/4 an Avacado
1/4 Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp of Raw Honey
