Tip Of the Day: "When saving your cash, you want to be able to spend less on material things."

Today I wanted to introduce you to a new way of life, for fashion and your finances! It’s called the minimalist life in honor of my first magazine cover for 2018, focusing on minimalism in Pump Magazine. Being content with the simple things in life! I like to say making the simple extravagant. You probably know someone who considers themselves to be a minimalist because they have 3 neutral color shirts, a few pairs of jeans and a nice black pair of versatile shoes! Uh! Nuh! That is not what I mean by minimalist lifestyle. It’s not about making sure you look as boring or simple as possible! (No offense) it’s about using what you have already and being able to make it look like a completely different outfit than the last time you wore the top, all while staying under budget and not buying anything at all!
As I learn to be more minimal I realize that having a few fun stand out pieces are important for special events, such as a dinner party or speaking engagement. I want to be stylish, sophisticated but also as if I picked this out just for the occasion. Having a few standout pieces makes that possible without doing last minute shopping.
When saving your cash you want to be able to spend less on material things. So we're not going to spend on bags and shoes and expensive jewelry! We buy one nice bag each season and either wear it until the handles rip or go back and forth from older bags to your newest, to limit wear and tear.
We will be dressing our styles with simple add on's that wont cost us much at all. My example pictures show chic sets with adding your touch of personal style. Graphic tee's are very much still a thing to keep in your closet but they are also simple enough to wear with anything. I have worn my Modern Influence tee ( www.moderninfluence.org ) in professional environments still with a sophisticated look. I can literally have a day at the office and simply change my pants for a more chill look. That is minimalism at its finest! My wardrobe stays minimal with styles that can still be considered fashionable, stylish and even extravagant! To achieve either of these looks check out www.moderninfluence.org.

See you soon for more tips on unconditional minimalism!
